Title: Meaning of MSR, USR, QSR and ISR Post by pancho_hideboo on Apr 24th, 2008, 8:01am EDA tool guys often use terms such as MSR, USR, QSR and ISR. Maybe MSR is acronym of Maintenance Service Release. USR is User Service Release, I think. But I don't know QSR and ISR. What do they mean ? |
Title: Re: Meaning of MSR, USR, QSR and ISR Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Apr 25th, 2008, 5:31am I think what they stand for is: quarterly service release interim service release but you'll have to get a Cadence rep to tell you what this really *means* ;) |

Thanks for response. I understand MSR, USR and QSR are public release. On the other hand, ISR is special release (hotfix release for specific problem). Is this correct ? |
