Title: Difference between sideband and harmonics in Post by buntysworld on Jun 19th, 2008, 7:42am Hi all... I know its really basic question. but these terms confuse me a lot when i am doing PSS / PAC analysis for my design. So can anyone give me brief difference between them. Thanks in advance!!! |

Sidebands of a composite waveform - as a result of a kind of modulation - are always equally spaced and located to the left and to the right of a frequency (which normally is called: carrier). 2.) Harmonics are multiples of a fundamental frequency only. For example: An ideal squarewave consists of the fundamental and only uneven harmonics. |
