Title: Efficient way to convert s-param model of transformers to lumped circuit
Post by schehrazi on Dec 17th, 2008, 3:02pm

Hi All,

There are a few softwares that give out lumped models for s-parameters of an inductor over a range of frequencies.

Do you know of a way to do the same thing for a transformer?

Thank you.

Run Spectre "sp" analysis?

Create equivalent model of target transformer and determine parameters by using optimizer with SP-analysis in Agilent ADS.

Or use Broadband SPICE Model Generator in Agilent ADS.

I recommend to use former method.
