What are you mostly interested in ? Tutorial for active inductor replacement or simulation of the corresponding circuit ? |
Title: Re: Active inductor simulation Post by noppp on Jan 13th, 2009, 5:39am Thanks for reply, Really, I just started studing Active Inductors cicuit and its applications. So, any tutorial will be helpfull for me. If you have any, please send me or upload. thanks in advance. |

At the moment, I have no tutorial (software) at hand, however, it should not be a problem for you to find some relevant articles/papers/tutorials via google, since active inductor design is one of the most favorite design method for active filters. Search for GIC (generalized impedance converter) or simply for "active inductor". The GIC requires two matched opamps. If lossy inductors are allowed you can use the NIC (neg. impedance converter) with only one opamp. If you have some specific questions regarding active inductor application, donīt hesitate to ask again - however, there is one thing you should keep in mind: With 2 opamps you only can simulate an active inductor which is grounded !!!
