hi,
When i am making new design and storing it in my libray,after to use again -its showing my designs can only be red,it cnt be modified...How i can modify my earlier deigns and why its getting locked??....pl.. reply soon

Your posting is rather vague and lacking in details.

Are there any messages in the CIW detailing what the problem is? If so, can you post them?

Maybe you still have another session open with the cellView still open for edit?

Also, it's always a good idea to post the subversion you're using (Help->About in the CIW will tell you this).

Hi Rao,

Cadence has a tool to unlock those cells.
$ cd <working directory>
$ clsAdminTool
> are ./
> quit
