hi you!
i'm using ADS ( advanced design system) to simulate RF circuit. now, i'm having a problem i need everyboy help me
My problem is" circuit design set rotate phase, combine Hybrid ( 90 degree) and varactor diode to control phase angle shift between input and output"
i have been designed it but i want to simulate by ADS with: " vatical axis is angle phase, horizontal axis is capacitance not frequency" please help me.

I can't find out any design issue in your post.
Your questios are no more than very easy usage of very specific tool.

Do two AC or SP analyses.

(1) AC with dc voltage sweep for varactor alone
(2) AC or SP analysis with dc voltage sweep for phase shifter

You can get capacitance from (1).
You can get phase shift from (2).

Here you can also do (1) in (2) by placing replica varactor for evaluation of capacitance.

Then use "plot_vs()" function.

Read all documents of Agilent ADS surely.

The followings are general notes for you.

- Always describe vendor's name which you use as tool or simulator.
- Don't do multiple posts which are same content.
- Don't request source code or behavioral model without any efforts.
- There are many simulators which have analyses called as PSS, PAC and Pnoise.
- Describe in detail with using correct terminologies.
- Warnigns are different from Errors.
- ADS is not name of simulator.
- There is no tool which name is Cadence.
- Don't use Direct Plot of Cadence ADE blindly without knowing definition.
- All gains in Direct Plot of Cadence ADE are "right", "true" and "practical" voltage gain.
- Don't mix up Simulation with Post Processing. They are completely different phase.
- MATLAB are different from Simulink.
- Learn measurements using actual instruments. Not "EDA Tool Play

Now i want to use a voltage to control varactor diode why i have to do.
Mybe when you see my file, You will understand.

It seems you are not familiar with Agilent ADS.
So it seems you can't understand my answers at all.

What you want to do is very easy task in Agilent ADS.

it's an ADS 2008 update 2. Do you understand my question? Maybe, my english is too bad so you don't know what i wrote
OK. i repeat my problem " i want to design a circuit that combine between quadrature hybrid and vacator diode. to use diode to control angle phase shift between input and output.the ange phase shift will change [0:360 degree] when vacator diode change capacitance."
Now i want to simulate by ADS. vatical axis is angle phase shift, horizontal axis is capacitance"

This is a special service since you are new comer in this forum.

Maybe you are student.
So discuss such very easy issue with friends or read all documents surely next time.

No varactor or voltage-controlled-capacitor is used in any of "FULL_TK2_020_e343(2).dsn", "hic.dsn" and "thunghiem.dsn".

Maybe you substitute fixed value "CAPQ" for "varactor".
So situation is more easy than "http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1273022317/1#1".

Attached archive include schematic("*.dsn", "*.ael", "*.atf") and "*.dds" files I used.

thanks for your help, pancho. I have done my lesson,again. I'm a student in VietNam, the firt time i have used ADS to simulate and design RF circuit,Microwave.
i hope, i will help more and more
