Title: How does this kind of double gate MOSFET work?
Post by qiushidaren on Jun 23rd, 2010, 7:01am

Hi gurus,

I wonder how does this kind of MOSFET work, which has an unusual gate structure? Can it be equivalent to any normal MOSFET structure, and what is its purpose by doing so? Thank you in advance.

This is a very common dual-gate MOSFET.

It is equivalent to "Cascode Connected MOSFET".

Hi pancho_hideboo,

Could you please explain why this structure can be equivalent to cascode transistors, i can't figure it out, thank you.

You can easily understand such things if you read any text book for beginner surely.

Simple series connected two MOSFET.

Sorry, I just misread it yesterday, it is really simply, and thank you for not being bored by this kind of question.

Did you think so ?
I was very bored by your question which is always too easy.

Pancho,
   You are really very rude.
