Title: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Oct 26th, 2010, 6:26pm Hi you! I need to help I have a circuirt Wilkinson power divider four gates It is only one input but 4 outputs with: First Output will change from 0 degree to 90 degree Second Output will change from 90 degree to 180 degree Third Output will change from 280 degree to 270 degree Fourth Output will change from 270 degree to 360 degree But when I want to measure out at output I have to change device-display four times Now, I want “ I don’t need to change device-display I still measure out signal at output from 0 degree to 360 degree “ My opinion : I will use a multicomplexer at output then we can measere continuously with a output. But I don’t know how to do Who can help me? |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Nov 9th, 2010, 3:04pm maybe, it is very diffilcult to find a MUX. Now, i want to find a switch to change among four outputs... Who can suggest me??? ( it is a switch with four inputs and one ouput) |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by Geoffrey_Coram on Nov 10th, 2010, 5:34am What kind of a switch do you want? Will you set the mux by parameters, changing the parameters for a different sim? Or does the mux need to switch during the simulation, based on other signals? Do you want a transistor-level switch, or an ideal one? You really haven't given us enough to work with, and you haven't shown us that you're putting in some effort yourself and not just expecting us to solve all your problems for you. |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Nov 10th, 2010, 3:26pm Thanhks for reading... My problem: To design a phaseshift from 0 to 360 degree... it users microstrip technology My idea: i have designed include 2 part part one: i desgined a Hybrid 90 degree phase shift that uses varactor to control phase at output. But It changes from 0 to 90 degree So.. Part two: I desgned a power divider. I uses wilkilson power splitte one input and four outputs.... My question:. I want to find a switch that has 4 inputs and one output to couple with Wilkilson power spliter.... I have used ADS software to desgin |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Nov 10th, 2010, 11:13pm +) What do you mean by "device-display" ? it is scope to observe +) What do you men by "multicomplexer " ? i'm sorry for incorect my words, it is multiplex ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi pancho OK, I will explaint clearly My problem: I have to design a shift phase 360 degree at 915MHZ by microstrip technology. My solution I use a Hybrid 90 degree and fours ways Wilkilson power sipliter. Then, I will connect them together to satisfy my problem. I have simulated it by ADS software… You can see it is over there But I have met with difficult problem that is four outputs. In fact, I need only an output So: The first, I want to use a multiplexer at output to have an output but I think it is diffilcult to design or look for. I have waited for long time but nobody Answers me. Then, I think about a switch to change instead of multilplexer. I need to look for a switch that has four ways input and an output Can I design it or Where I can find? Who can help me? Or Who can introduce to me some products.. |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Nov 11th, 2010, 7:42am to Pancho Maybe you don't understand what i said and done the first: I need to find a switch or mutiplexer at output the second: I have to design real circuit but, you can explaint clearly what you want to say. |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Nov 11th, 2010, 8:02pm Pancho, Can you give me some sugesters? Maybe, it is very simple with you, But, it is a big problem with me... I want to complete that is problem. Can you give me some sugesters? step by step to complete... |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by pancho_hideboo on Nov 26th, 2010, 10:48pm I assume you use Agilent Momentum on Agilent ADS. But you can do your task by using distributed components elements without using Momentum. If you would like to design Hybrid alone, do 4port S-parameter analysis. If you would like to design 1:4 power divider alone, do 5port S-parameter analysis. If you would like to design a combination of Hybrid and 1:4 power divider, do 7port S-parameter analysis. hieuphong wrote on Nov 11th, 2010, 7:42am:

I think your designing targets are Hybrid and 1:4 Power Divider not SP4T switch. However if you would like to use switch, use the following as three cascaded blocks. http://edocs.soco.agilent.com/display/ads2009U1/SPDT+Static+%28Single+Pole+Double+Throw+Switch%2C+Static%29. Or create your own switch by using Verilog-A. Again, do you think your power dividers can work properly without termination ? If you use "multiplexer", you have to terminate all unused outputs. This is very true even if you implement actual switch using pin-diode. This is very true even if you use commercial product of SP4T switch such as followings. http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/ADG904_904R.pdf http://www.peregrine-semi.com/pdf/datasheets/pe42641ds.pdf And this is also true for Hybrid. Again, I don't think any switch or multiplexer is required at all in your designing tasks. |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on Feb 21st, 2011, 7:13pm i don't come here for a long time. Now, i need some files or document about phase shifter. Who can help me? i hope, everyboddy will help me because i'm a final student at university and i have to do a project to gradute. thanks a lot!!! |
Title: Re: multiplexer Post by hieuphong on May 3rd, 2011, 10:40pm Nobody want to help me. I'm desiging the hardware of project. But i have some diffilcults. it's not matching between input character and output character. I have designed about 5 verisons. Who can give me some advises, please? If i don't complete i can't graduate... Help me, please!!!!! |
