Title: Cadence Virtuoso and ADS momentum Post by abhishek on Dec 8th, 2010, 8:34am Hi, I have to make a simple inductive filter circuit in Cadence Virtuoso. The schematic part is OK but I do not see any standard cell layout for inductor in the kit. I am new to analog/RF design and unsure how to go about it. I understand ADS momentum can do layout for inductors. Can I use Cadence Virtuoso and ADS momentum together? How do I import the layout made in momentum to Cadence. Please guide. Thanks, Abhi |
Title: Re: Cadence Virtuoso and ADS momentum Post by abhishek on Dec 8th, 2010, 8:56am Thanks for your reply. Then what is the method to layout an inductor if it is not given in the standard cell? I can draw a metal ring, but how would I define the number of rings and other parameters for an inductor. LVS error will also come up as it would treat it as a wire. Any suggestions? Thanks, |
