Hi guys, I am currently in need of IC Reliability Engineers from senior to technician level to this world leading IC design and manufacturing company and expand your career in new product design & manufacture.      

Job Purpose:      
•      To assist in the implementation of a new IC Qualification Centre in Cork
•      To carry out qualification of new processes and products.
•      Work independently on multiple tasks concurrently and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:      
•      Commission Reliability Equipment and develop standard practices and procedures .
•      Conduct hands-on reliability assessment and failure analysis activities.
•      Design, test, and analyse specific structures which measure semiconductor process reliability & quality.
•      Conduct on-wafer, accelerated evaluations of reliability using temperature, voltage, current & other stresses.
•      Work to make evaluation structures representative of actual products, including yield and field failure issues.
•      Plan, schedule, coordinate & conduct detailed process assessment or failure mechanism investigations.
•      Document & specify test systems, Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) specifications & reliability reports.
•      Role is likely to require temporary assignment to USA.

Key Competencies Required:      
•      Knowledge of accelerated reliability test methods and environmental aging techniques.
•      Knowledge of ISO 17025
•      Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication and knowledge of semiconductor device operation, parametric measurement techniques, and solid state failure mechanisms is desired.
•      Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and good written & verbal communications skills are necessary.
•      They will be able to work as part of an engineering team, to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
•      Candidate must have the ability to work independently on multiple tasks concurrently and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:      
•      BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years experience in the area of semiconductor reliability engineering
•      Project Management Qualification an advantage
•      Knowledge of 6 Sigma tools and Statistical analysis
•      Strong Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office
