Hi,
  I am trying to deduce a relationship between the resistance caused by hysteresis and skin effect of a parallel LC circuit and the difference in period measured at two different times while the oscillations are dying out. Below is a link where I describes the phenomena briefly:

I have a setup where with a uC I can measure time with a resolution of 100ps. I will try to take measurement at different intervals and by knowing the exact values of inductance and capacitance, I will derive also the q-factor.(by finding ζ)

I also need to figure out how I shall model this resistance. Should it be parallel to the circuit or should I have a single resistance in series with every component? A recommendation of good book on this matter would be really appreciated.
