Title: phase jitter, spectre pllMMLib
Post by kverheye on Oct 6th, 2012, 6:17am

Hello,

I am using the noise aware PLL flow in cadence. I use the method described here:

http://www.cadence.com/community/blogs/cic/archive/2009/03/26/calculating-large-signal-phase-noise-using-transient-noise-analysis.aspx

I was wondering how the phase jitter is defined. I does not seem to be related to period jitter (Jper or Jk(1)). Is it related to edge-to-edge jitter (Jee)?

Thanks,

Koen
