Title: cds_thru Post by Ken Kundert on Dec 8th, 2012, 12:05am I am trying to run a simulation of a design that contains a cds_thru on an analog net, but I cannot get the simulation to run. AMS-Designer converts the net within the cds_thru into a digital net, which breaks the analog net that contains it into two, preventing the circuit from operating. I tried to use a hierarchical reference to apply the electrical discipline to the net within the cds_thru, but AMS Designer rejected it. Can anyone tell me how to convince AMS Designer to treat the cds_thru as an analog net? -Ken |
Title: Re: cds_thru Post by Peter Grove on Apr 7th, 2013, 6:35am I think you need to use the detailed discipline resolution method rather than the basic one. cds_thru's are not nice bits of code, and really the netlister should remove them and short the 2 net together. |
