We are using TSMC 180nm 1.8/3.3 MS/RF process iPDKs with Synopsys Custom Designer. What we found out that the TSMC's support for iPDK is very patchy. For example, TSMC decks for StarRC have missing layermap and devicemap files. The files supplied by Synopsys do not work for all devices.
We now also found out that TSMC does not have any Hercules deck for dummy fill for poly while it has for Calibre and Assura.
Did anybody else have the same experience? I would like to hear how they managed to solve the problems they encountered.
