Title: Bets way to check if PLL locked?
Post by bigball on Apr 30th, 2014, 6:21pm

Hi:

I have heard many different ways to check if PLL loop locked. One of my friends claimed that checking if TIE of the vco output clk settles is the only correct way. Any comment?

Thanks,
Bigball

when the control voltage is flat and the phase frequency detector is in phase mode

how you deal with that is up to you.
