Title: Oscillation of Coil node (buck) in DCM
Post by ywguo on Jun 22nd, 2014, 9:12pm

Hi Guys,

I have a buck converter, which operates in discontinuous-current mode. The output node that connects to coil oscillates when both PMOS and NMOS are off, because the inductor current is not exact zero when NMOS is turned off. Is it a common phenomenon of Buck operating in DCM?

The blue line named /L0/PLUS is inductor current. The line named Coil is the node connecting PMOS/NMOS drains and the coil.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Yawei
