Title: Boost Converter in Dickson Configuration
Post by bki on Aug 22nd, 2014, 8:06am

Hi,

i have a Boost Converter in Dickson Configuration to produce negative voltage at the output. (see attached)

Now i realized from the MOSFET technology, that on the drain side 650V maximum are allowed.
So, does it mean the MOSFET will not work for -200V on the drain side ? Simulation doesn´t show any problems.

If it is a problem, is there any trick how i can avoid it?
