dear all,
Can any one tell me why LVDS driver(like H-bridge with two current source one form vdd and another from vss) is not often choose in serdes. This can give better swing compared to cml and less swing compared to voltage mode, so still people can replace cml with this type of structure but that's not practical.
I have seen in only multidrop memory systems only--again why?

for the H-bridge type, you need to have cm driver. it is usually use together with AC couple cap.
