Title: Hurry, how to use the netlist-based/spice-based spectrerf simulation.

Hi,

We are spoiled too much by Cadence, now I have no idea how to use the netlist-based/spice-based solution to simulation VCO by using SpectreRF. All of the tutorials from internet is graphic solution, I wonder who can give me an example with the netlist simulation, or any tutorial of the SpectreRF syntax in the netlist?
   Appreciate very much.

See listing 1 in Simulating Switched-Capacitor Circuits with Spectre-RF.  Or, if you are into Python and what to see an example of the whole process from generating the netlist, through simulating, to extracting and plotting the waveforms, see Flicker Noise

Hi Ken,

I'm not sure why you changed the name of the voltage source from Vin to Vmod in runPnoise, but it breaks the simulation unless you also change the oprobe statements.

Frank

No particular reason other than I think it makes it a bit more obvious what the purpose of the source is. I think I found the problem myself after a day or so and fixed it. Thanks for reporting it.

The pnoise.scs file still has the problem (which is not a real issue because runPnoise overwrites it).

Whoops. Fixed now. Thanks Frank!
