SC-CMFB: Which Phase CM voltage is important
Feb 18th, 2009, 5:17am

I have a question that, in switched capacitor integrator design, the SC-CMFB should regulate CM voltage in which phase?

Integration phase or sampling phase?

Any suggestion on literature sample?

I am not sure whether I understand your question correctly.
But I think that the CM voltage is regulated in both phases anyway.

Cheers

Hi,
It doen't improtent as long as your Amp keep the CM in place. and it should do so in both phases because your final results depands on both phases.

Hi Neoflash,

I think this is what your doubt is about..

The SC CMFB corrects the output CM voltage in sampling phase, in the integration phase the inputs are applied and the output commonmode gets slightly corrupted, which again is taken care of in the succeeding sampling phase.

Thanks
