flicker noise in T/H circuit
Feb 20th, 2011, 9:17pm

hi all,
I have seen the document ''Simulation SC filters with SpectreRF'' from The Designer's Fuide Community . From the section 2.2 ,the noise in T/H circuit said is  like formula (16), and my question is that is there the contribution of the flicker noise in T/H ? And from SpectreRF simulation is almost equal to formula (16).> Because I think there is flicker noise in T/H , I confused about that. In spectreRF it doesn't consider the flicker noise? But the spectreRF document said that the flicker noise is in the simulation .  I miss something in it ?  thanks ~

Hi,

Assuming the very simple T/H circuit of Figure 1, the flicker noise from the switch is negligible because there is no DC current through the switch.

Cheers
