Actually, I am new to digital design and just curious about what verilog can do.
Therefore, I image that a ASIC for certain wireless standard needs to be developed. It includes RF front end and baseband processor (Modem and Codec). I knew that SpectreRF can do the RF circuit/sustem design. To design the rest of the chip, what tools Cadence can provide from system simulation down to layout?
Then compare to other tools, what advantages it can offer?
1). Matlab (Has simulink and rich DSP functions);
2). Other tool from synopsis;
Thanks
