primitives library for Cadence IC5
Oct 11th, 2004, 11:54am

Hi,

Can someone explain how to create primitive symbols for IC5 cadence virtuoso. I have models for transistors, resistors, caps etc. but I don't have the symbols of those to use in the schematic drawing and then to netlist for simulation. I need to create the symbols, but don't know how.
The models are not for spectre and are organized as subcircuits.
Any help would be appreciated. Or at least point to a documentation where I can read about this.

how about Getting Started with the Analog Design Environment.

or you might just try using analogLib.. symbols for most primitives are there, and you can copy them over to your primitive library.
