Spectrum analysis of a S/H amplifier
Nov 11th, 2004, 3:02am

Hi,

I am trying to determine the distortion in my switched-capacitor sample and hold. Is there anyway I can use Cadence (SpectreRF) to obtain the FFT (i.e. equivalent of passing the S/H output signal into a Spectrum analyzer)? Please let me know.

Also, if this is possible, would this also contain the output noise of the S/H amplifier or only its distortion. I have currently the data points from a transient simulation of the S/H amplifier.

Thanks,
Sid
