If you're using hspiceD or hspiceS, you can specify an include file to include along with the simulation - and you could put the analysis statement in there.

However, you may not be able to look at the results using the environment - because I don't know whether hspice outputs the results of those analyses in psf format or not. So you may have to use the hspice results viewer to look at the results of other analyses.

Regards,

Andrew.

Andrew,

Thanks for your response. i use hspiceS in Cadence ADE. but i'm still puzzling how to specify an include file , Could you explain in detail?
by the way, in the 'simulate' menu of ADE, there is an option 'Command Type-in...', which will appear a type-in window. do you know the function of this option?

SmileyThanks and best regards

Strangely I'd never noticed the Command Type In form before. From hitting the help button on this form, and from experimenting with it, it allows you to enter cdsSpice commands - which allows you to control cdsSpice (which is what is responsible for preparing the final netlist and controlling the hspice simulation under hspiceS). You cannot enter hspice netlist statements in this window.

To add an hspice syntax include file, use Setup->Environment, and enter a path to an include file. Make sure you set the include/Stimulus file syntax to hspice rather than cdsSpice on the form.

If you were using the newer hspiceD interface (hspiceS is obsolete), then you could add the include file by Setup->Model Libraries, or by using the definition file under  Setup->Simulation Files.

Best Regards,

Andrew.
