awd window
Jul 08th, 2005, 10:46pm

After running a spectre simulation from a terminal I always invoke the awd by using awd -dataDir file.raw. Two questions here: If I don't tell awd the simulation result directory it will not be able to load the results, even though I can browse to the directory after opening awd. Why is that so and is there a way to access different results without closing awd and restarting it with a new simulation directory?

Thanks

Ps. The version is 5.0.33.144

Once you've browsed to the directory, try doing middle-mouse->Create ROF over the raw directory name. This creates the "Run Object File" that awd needs to read the data. I must admit I never use the -dataDir arg, but I'm guessing that does the creation of the ROF automatically.

Regards,

Andrew.
