RFIC Design Director/Manager/Project Leader (titles depending on experience)

Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an innovative and analytical leader with proven technical and managerial skills to head
our cutting-edge RF (1-10GHz) IC design efforts. Will lead the definition, design and development of an
integrated RF transceiver.  Circuits include low-noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, filters, and frequency
synthesizers / DLLs / PLLs.
 
Responsibilities include hands-on design, simulation, and testing as well as recruiting, management, and
development of team.  Expected to hold and participate in design reviews.  Hands-on design will include
some custom layout as well as working with layout engineers.  Participate in system integration and testing.  
Will work closely with analog baseband IC, digital IC, and algorithms design groups.  Active participant in
overall wireless system design and specification.

Requirements:
• M.S in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 7 years of design experience in transistor-level RFIC design
• At least 4 years of design experience in CMOS RFIC design
• A Ph.D. or MSEE in Electrical Engineering or a related field is highly desired
• Prior management experience preferred

Locations include Northern and Southern California and the Midwest
