1V-->3V boost

Dear Sir:

I've a 2.4V-->3.3V boost dcdc
and next target would be 1v-->3V dcdc
what should I do?

Build a 0.7V BGR with VDD down to 1V??
that doesn't seems to help so much... Sad

They are called "charge pumping circuits" where you use switches to dump charge onto a capacitor to get above the power supply voltage.

In some cases, you can use charge pumps, to drive another charge pump.

Example: 1V power, can get you to a around a 1.8V on a capacitor. Then you use that to power another pump that get you up to around 3V or so.

Take a look in the IEEE JSSC - there should be some stuff there on the topic.

My paper in the August 2006 IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits has a topology that creates its own reference and will work down to 1V.  I tried to make it understandable to people without a lot of charge pump experience, so it may be helpful to you.

after dcdc startup, you can connected BGR to dcdc output,so you can provide 3.3v power to the BGR,
not by battery power!!
