what's the theory of spectre tran noise simulation
Jul 26th, 2006, 12:19am

In new version spectre, cadence added noise option in tran simulation.
Anybody who knows how the transient simulation is done?
e.g. where noise come from? what kind of noise is considered?
I checked the manual, but there are only the method how to set up the simulation, no
explanation of how it is done.

There's an application note which goes into more details. I don't think it's on sourcelink yet, but if you contact Cadence customer support, they should be able to provide it for you.

Regards,

Andrew.
