Looking for a consultant to work with a group of IC Designers to provide technical design support, make recommendations for change and formulate techniques that enhance design for performance, using analog and digital (mixed-signal) modeling, Verilog-AMS, Cadence AMS and/or Mentor AMS.   Evaluate technical design tasks and determine action, analyze new and customized approaches and utilize your broad knowledge to provide solutions to often complex problems across many technologies and tools.

Requires higher education/specialist training/certification, complemented by 5-7 years of hands-on related experience.  Must understand the importance of problem solving, be results-focused, and be willing to build upon your specialized knowledge and functional breadth.

This is a 6 month plus contract at market rates.

would a cadence training class in Verilog-AMS qualify for the certification?
Would being a certified instructor for that class qualify?
If you know of any Specialist Certification program in this area, I'd be interested to know about it..
(so I can figure out if it would be good enough to help me screen the candidates..)
