Load and save command in spectre?
Mar 11th, 2007, 4:39am

Hi,
I am facing problem ragarding the long simulation time of the closed loop of CDR. It takes several hours for one run of the closed loop to get stable i.e control voltage to stabilise. In some simulator there are load and save commands to save stable node voltages after some time and then they can be used in other simulations.
I am not aware if  this feature is available in spectre. If there is a way to do this please let me know the proceedure.

Best Regards,

From spectre -h tran:

Code:
15	saveperiod Save the tran analysis periodically on the simulation
				  time.
16	saveclock=1800 s Save the tran analysis periodically on the wall clock
				  time.
17	savetime=[...] Save the analysis states into files on the specified
				  time points.
18	savefile Save the analysis states into the specified file.
19	recover Specify the file to be restored.

Regards,

Andrew.
