how to introduce mismatch in dac using spectre
May 22nd, 2007, 9:50pm

hi.
I am working on high speed DAC. I need to introduce mismatch between transistors.

I heard there is some local option to introduce mismatch in transistor properties window(this window comes when we press q after selecting a transsitor)).

I didnt find that local option in my cadence window.
Can anyone help me in this aspect.
plz tell if there are any other methods to introudce mismatch(except  monte carle analysis)

At least you have two choices in my mind.
1) manually mismatch your transistors. Smiley
2) If you have mismatch models avaible, you can run monte carlo.
