I am currently specifying various gain blocks and hence determine 1dB compression points and also IIP3 points. I was wondering whether the pss analysis takes into consideration transient effects such a slew rate. To compare the results for the compression point obtained by the pss I ran a parametric transient analysis, sweeping the input power and looking at where the apparent gain drops by 1dB. The results match pretty closely (<1dB difference). This would lead me to believe that the pss does include SR effects, doesn't it?
