Library Wide Verilog-A/MS Compilation in Cadence
Apr 29th, 2008, 1:49am

Is there a quick and easy route to (re-)compile all Verilog-A/MS code in a selected library in Cadence?
I would like to make sure that certain common re-sources are picked up and used after they have been updated.
The open and edit approach seems a bit long-winded to me.

Best regards
Joe

Can you delete the object files?

Hi Geoffrey!

I don't know if or where Cadence stores the object files.
I couldn't find any searching for files changed within the space of time when I made a re-compile.

Cadence Sourcelink has got a piece of skill code listed though, which seems to look for all Verilog-A views in a library and then use "update" to re-compile each one of them.

Best regards
Joe
