VCD file stimulus converted to odd signal levels in Spectre Sims
Jun 26th, 2008, 9:45pm

Hi,

We are trying to simulate a PLL with the digital signals being driven from a VCD file. This simulation is run using Cadence Spectre. Three of the digital signals (driven by the VCD file) are driven to some odd signal level (about 0.3V or so).

Viewing the VCD file in simvision shows these signals to be OK (either at 0 or 1)

All other signals are ok and at the correct voltage levels as specified in the sig file?

Any ideas on why just a few signals would have some really odd voltage levels? The sig file seems ok.

thanks in advance,
Aarathy
