HSPICE model file loading issue in SPECTRE
Oct 15th, 2008, 9:35pm

I am trying to load an HSPICE model file in a SPECTRE simulation. I have successfully done this in the past with

simulator lang=spectre

However this file has a

.prot
<encrypted>
.unprot

construct, and results in a syntax error due to encrypted portion.

Any ideas on how to get it to work.

Thanks in advance,
NH

I doubt you can do anything about this -- not likely that Synopsys is going to give Cadence Synopsys's decryption key.  Not only because they are competitors, and Synopsys wants you to buy HSpice, but what if Cadence "accidentally" disclosed the key?
