Are you looking for an independent voltage source that generates a K28.5 pattern?

Or do you have one, and you don't know how to use it in HSpice?

(I had to Google K28.5 to even have any idea what you were talking about ...  It's best not to assume that everyone here knows exactly what sorts of simulation you're doing.)

I also had to google K28.5. I think you need something like this in HSPICE:

Code:
* example of k28.5 repeating data pattern
v1 k28_5 0 pat (3 0 0n 1n 1n 5n b0011111010110000010 r=-1)
r1 k28_5 0 1

This means 3V high, 0V low, 0n delay, 1n rise and fall time, 5n for each sample, and then the k28.5 pattern. The r=-1 means repeat indefinitely. This is assuming that I found the right pattern from my google searches...

Spectre also has a similar bit source (see "spectre -h vsource" which can output bit sequences or reference named patterns).

Regards,

Andrew.
