How to plot OP parameter with sweep variable in Spectre?
Apr 16th, 2009, 6:00am

Hello everyone,

I want to plot some parameters of operating point versus the variable that is swept in DC simulation.

And my method is setting dc analysis and running parametric analysis with a variable the same as the one swept in dc, and plot the wave with "result browser".

Is my method ok? And is there any other better ways to do it?

thanks a lot!

You can use spectremdl to realize it.

Or make sure that you have:

save *:oppoint

in your netlist (add this in an included "model file" if using ADE), and then do a normal DC sweep. This will save all operating point parameters for all (wildcarded) devices.

This will be quicker than doing a parametric sweep.

Regards,

Andrew.
