hi,
  1. whats the difference between .ic and nodeset in hspice?
  2. I am not able to get info from .pz results in hspice? it is listing so many pz's even for two stage opamps.

1 .ic is enforced at time=0, eg an initial condition for an oscillator.
Nodeset is a hint to the Newton solver, so it will start "near" the true solution, but the actual time=0 solution may be "far" from the nodeset.
