ADE doesn't netlist voltage sources
Mar 22nd, 2010, 11:21pm

I am having this weird issue of ADE not netlisting voltage sources. All the components and cells of the technology library are in place, but there are no instance statements for voltage sources.

What could be the issue? Where do I start the debug?

I'd start by looking very closely at the log file.

Also check if there are multiple libraries that have voltage source symbols in them; maybe you picked the "wrong" library.

Wonder whether it might be a failure to set "setenv CDS_Netlisting_Mode Analog" before starting icfb/virtuoso. However, that would normally just cause parameters to be missing, not the complete instance.

As Geoffrey said, check for any errors in the CIW.

Regards,

Andrew.
