Control language for "Custom WaveView" of Synopsys
Apr 28th, 2010, 10:51am

Recently I can have "Custom WaveView" of Synopsys.
http://www.synopsys.com/Tools/Verification/AMSVerification/DesignAnalysis/Pages/...
http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1231424371/1#1

As you know, this waveform viewer supports many formats such as Cadence PSF, Agilent ds, Synopsys tr0 and Novas FSDB, etc.

Here I have question.
Is there any control language provided for plotting data in this "Custom WaveView" ?

If you have an Synopsys SolveNet account,
have a look here:

Self follow up. Cheesy

We can use ACE(Analysis Command Environment) for this purpose.
I can use Synopsys Custom WaveView as Unified Post Processing Environment for many vendor's simulator outputs.

Analysis Command Environment (ACE) is a Tcl-based programming environment comprised of a set of high-level waveform data operating commands evolved from the old Synopsys APX (Application Programming Extension) API functions.
ACE can be executed in both GUI mode and non-GUI batch mode.
