Cadence 6.1 Plottign problem for device parameters.
Nov 04th, 2010, 9:05am

Hello All,

I have been successfully plotting device parameters like gm, gds, VTH using the extra file stating "save M1:gm" type statements in IC5.1.4.1
Recently I moved to IC6.1 and the same file does not give the parameters after running the simulation.

In the output log file I am getting a warning:

WARNING (SPECTRE-8061): `M1': Does not have a terminal named `gm'. in save statement.

Any suggestions.

Regards

I don't think this is anything to do with it being IC61 - the most likely explanation is that your model is actually a subckt model, and hence the actual transistor is inside a subckt. You'd probably need to change it to save M1.M0:gm (or whatever the transistor is called inside the subckt model).

Presumably you are using different models in IC61 compared with IC5141.

Regards,

Andrew.
