Current dependent voltage source in Spectre
Dec 06th, 2010, 2:50am

Hello,

I'm trying to specify a current dependent voltage source in Spectre, which also depends on a voltage node.

The expresion i'm trying to model is :
Code:
V(Emem) = -I(Roff)*V(N1)*(R_OFF-R_ON)

So i tried with no result:
Code:
Emem Plus N2 dc=-I(Roff)*V(N1)*(R_OFF-R_ON)

Can you help me? Thanks

You could either try to use the pccvs component (together with a vccs for the control voltage) or write a simple Verilog-A model.

Thanks!

I finally include a bsource component, and it seems it works.

Thanks for all.
