Senior Power Supply (Board level) Engineer x 2 - EUROPE - CONTRACT

Are you experienced and successful Engineer with "board level" Power Supply Systems? if so, this role will appeal to you. Our client is currently looking for talented Senior Power Supply (board Level) Engineers, to join their Innovative R&D Department.

Responsibilities:

  • •      Work in a "expert" level team, to plan and design a portfolio of future power products.
    •      Responsible for requirements analysis, on power aspect, for wireless or network products.
    •      Power architecture analysis (e.g. IBA/DPA/CPA) and design, for wireless or network products.
    •      Responsible for detailed design and verification of related power, including converter design, Sequence Design, EMC design and thermal design etc.
    •      Contribute with teammates to implement cost-effective/high efficient/high reliability board power solution for wireless or network products

Skills Sought:

  • •      At least 6+yrs of experience on detailed design of power converters for wireless or network products,  with a deep understanding of power supply components, and power supply loop control (such as, VMC, CMC and digital control) theory and design.
    •      A high level knowledge of EMC/thermal design of power converters.
    •      Solid experience of SMPS magnetic material selection and design and verification for mass production, especially BTS/DSL development experience
    •      Experienced in SMPS modelling and analysis, using power simulation tools, such as- Pspice /SIMetrix /Saber and related reliable simulation methodology would be beneficial.
    •      Skills in schematic/layout drawing and practical experience of handling measurement instrumentation in lab.
    •      Familiarity with related power and structure application standards, such as ETSI, NEBS, IEC.
    •      Knowledge of digital power technique and related board power architecture design.
    •      Have a sincere interest of novel power techniques and development trends.
    •      Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing & prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred
    •      Bachelor Degree, Masters in electrical engineering or equivalent background.
    •      We would prefer if the candidate has the ability to analyse the overall unit cost and its reliability and also possesses knowledge of lighting protection and grounding design in the power area
