hspice: to plot .meas results
Apr 26th, 2012, 7:11am

Hi, I'm doing a transient analysis of my circuit in hspice and measure its current exactly at 1us with several values of an additional parameter:

.param aaa=...
.tran ... sweep aaa ...
.meas tran iii find i(...) at=1u

The results in the .mt0 file are correct to the first extent.
Then I'm trying to plot the resulting current with this parameter value in the x-axis:

.print tran par('iii') ...

, but I can't get a normal graph in the viewer, I only obtain a bar chart, like this:

iii
    |
    |    |
    |    |    |
    |    |    |    |
    |    |    |    |    |
    |    |    |    |    |    |
------------------------------------------ aaa

The final points of these bars are just the points I need. How to do the analysis correctly, or plot the points correctly, so as to get a normal graph?

Thanx.

Which waveform viewer are you trying to use?

I believe you can use Synopsys WaveView to evaluate HSPICE measure statements and plot them graphically.

Yes, if you are using WaveView, you can display the information correctly.
