Using spectreMDL expressions when running PSS analysis (Spectre)
May 04th, 2012, 3:13am

Hi,

I usually use spectreMDL for running my batch jobs and make use of MDL's ability to process signals to generate various scalar outputs or run searches.

Now, I have found that MDL expressions are not recognized when I create a measurement alias for a PSS analysis, although the analysis itself is run.

Does anyone know of a way around this?

I suspect that MDL expressions are not directly supported as PSS analysis actually comprises different sub-analyses, such as the initial TRAN until stabilization of the PSS and time- and frequency- domain analysis performed within PSS.

Any tips would be welcome.

Regards,
Vivek

P.S: There are very good reasons why I do not use ADE-XL or expressions directly out of the ADE-L GUI. So, kindly do not suggest using one of these.
