Jitter Measurement using eye diagram in cadence
May 28th, 2012, 4:00pm

Hello All,
I used Ken's Verilog-A code of VCO with jitter. I set jitter input to 10ps and ran transient simulation. Then I plotted eye diagram of output but I don't know hoe to measure jitter from eye diagram in cadence. Please help. I am using IC5.1

Thanks

Hi nadroit,

If you cannot access cadence online help, generate eye diagram of the VCO output and measure it with delta cursors.   Smiley

If you can access cadence online help, please have a look at solution # 11395772, 11018920, and 11564054. Or have a look at the following link.

BTW, I am not sure whether the solution in the above 3 solutions are all compatible with your product version, IC51.

Best Regards,
Yawei
