Can a CCVS inside a subckt be controlled by a current inside another subckt?
Nov 08th, 2015, 3:45am

I have two subcircuits I1 and I2 in a circuit. Can a current controlled source(CCVS/CCCS) which is in I2 be controlled by a current inside I1(probe voltage inside I1)? If so, what is the syntax to be used for the probe source? (Of course without bringing the controlling current out of the subcircuit I1 by adding more pins etc.)

I realize this is most likely not possible, because the subcircuit definition needs to include a reference to an instance in the main circuit, but just checking.
