There is a new book out that looks good. Its called The System Designer's Guide to VHDL-AMS by Peter J. Ashenden, Gregory D. Peterson, Darrell A. Teegarden. You can find it at ...

Alternatively, you can visit www.designers-guide.com/Links. In the lower right corner there are links related to behavioral modeling. There is a link to a VHDL-AMS tutorial. Also the BMAS site has papers on VHDL-AMS modeling.

There are a few companies that are focused on analog synthesis. You can look into Neolinear (www.neolinear.com) or Analog Design Automation (www.analogsynthesis.com). -Ken
