parametric simulation in Spectre
Mar 10th, 2004, 5:10pm

Hi all,

I have a problem with parametric simulation in Spectre.

Whenever I start to run parametric simulation, there will be a window pop-up every time when one run is over, the window basically tells you how many runs you still have. It is painful that this window always show up on top of the window I am  working on. What a annoying interference! Does some one know how to get rid of this pop-up window during the simulation.

Many thanks,

jimmy li

Jimmy,

Unfortunately it can't be turned off right now. There's a PCR for this:

   PCR: 482903
Title: Parametric Analysis output window should stay iconified

Also, it should take note of having auto-update off (covered in the same PCR).

If you contact Cadence via your normal support channel, then  additional customers who are asking for this to be fixed will influence the priority for getting this minor irritation fixed.

Best Regards,

Andrew.
